Hey, I'm Alison. Welcome to Styling by Alison
I am a qualified Personal Stylist, offering a wide variety of services within Leicestershire and online.

I began my career in retail after graduating with a BA in Fashion Marketing, I then moved into buying, first for an Outdoor retailer and then for an American catalogue company (specialising in footwear and accessories). I decided however to leave the world of buying for a better work/life balance after having my son, so I moved back into retail, where I became a Senior Style Advisor for Mint Velvet. 

I, like many others needed to discover my new "mum" style after pregnancy, something I really struggled with and for a good year felt I had lost me and the quirky style I had pre-baby. I have enjoyed learning new skills and building on my own style to create something that works for me and my lifestyle. So during Covid I decided to take my love of styling & fashion one step further and enrolled on a course with the British College of Professional Styling to expand on my knowledge and skills. I graduated in January 2023 and started "Styling by Alison", offering the lovely ladies of Leicestershire a safe space to explore their own style and embrace the power of fashion & the effect feeling good and confident can have on your life.

The service I offer at present is a Wardrobe Edit & Detox - but I am looking to expand out into Colour Analysis & Personal shopping in the future.
